Best reads of 2014

Since everyone else is listing their best reads of 2014, I might as well join in!

2014 introduced me to two new series that i will be continuing;

and

Another time travel really entertained me;

And I read a couple of good Classics that I hadn't read before;

Other books were entertaining, but these are the top reads of the year. What 2015 will bring to my reading list is yet to be seen, but there are a couple more Classics I have my eye on and of course continuations of the two series, plus maybe I'll branch out into some genres I've been neglecting. I don't plan my reading too far ahead so it will all be a surprise for me!
