Lora's Rants and Reviews

My own unapologetic opinions on books and writing. I DO NOT accept review requests but only review books I choose to read and I don't post reviews on Amazon. I'm also persnickity about genre and plot.

The Whispering Swarm - Michael Moorcock

I never know what to expect from Moorcock. I'm enjoying this, but it reads like a memoir. It's largely autobiographical, except for excursions into a fantasy world.

Anyone who wants to read about what publishing was like in the 60s-70s will find a wealth of information here that spans two countries and a few recognizable names. But there are excursions into a sort of time warp in secret London, so don't be surprised at anything you see.
