Lora's Rants and Reviews

My own unapologetic opinions on books and writing. I DO NOT accept review requests but only review books I choose to read and I don't post reviews on Amazon. I'm also persnickity about genre and plot.

Surviving The Evacuation, Book 1: London - Frank Tayell

I don't know why this was on my A-list tbr. I generally don't read zombie novels! I think it was the word LONDON across the bookcover that attracted me.

I'm really enjoying it. It's written first person, like a survivor is keeping a journal of his efforts to stay alive.

It's very well done, and the things that happen sound oh so plausible, once you accept the idea of zombies of course.  I'm glad I started reading it. I just hope there's a satisfactory ending, because there's a series. And I don't generally read zombie books, so following a series is unlikely.
