Lora's Rants and Reviews

My own unapologetic opinions on books and writing. I DO NOT accept review requests but only review books I choose to read and I don't post reviews on Amazon. I'm also persnickity about genre and plot.

Bookaday Sept #3 - Best Home Front novel

All Quiet on the Western Front - A.W. Wheen, Erich Maria Remarque

It's not exactly home front, but I don't go for a lot of WW2 lit. I was forced to read this in school, but I don't regret it because it has really stayed with me all these years. I'd love to find a WW1 novel with the same impact.
